Protest silliness in Seattle
from the mind of Duke.
The group cowgirlup saw in San Francisco was up to the same tricks here in Seattle. Lucky me, they were right outside my office. But I had plenty of opportunity to take some great pictures.

Because students skip class only for the most important of causes.

I wondered where the editorial cartoonists for Pravda had gotten off to.

Nice banner. But what's that on their table?

Heh.

Hmm, lets double check that in the dictionary:
Fascism: n.
Being able to demonstrate peacefully against your government without fear of persecution.
Well I'll be damned!

I take great confort knowing that this young girl's parents have presented her with both sides of the issue and allowed her to come to her own conclusions before the protest.

Sometimes they almost make it too easy.

No no, that's the NEXT protest.

This was in the middle of the speech about how wrong it is to imprison people for crimes they haven't been convicted of.

Make love not war!

To echo MassRepublican ... "I thought I was all alone" in Seattle! How nice to find out there are more conservatives in this oh-so-lefty state!!

Whew! Third time's a charm!
I hurt myself laughing at these pictures! Brilliant! Keep up the good work!
Holy Crap! I love it. What a bunch of idiots. Reminds me of an Oingo Boingo song called Capitalism.
Oingo Boingo - Capitalism Lyrics
There's nothing wrong with capitalism
There's nothing wrong with free enterprise
Don't try to make me feel guilty
I?m so tired of hearing you cry
There's nothing wrong with making some profit
If you ask me I'll say it's just fine
There's nothing wrong with wanting to live nice
I'm so tired of hearing you whine
About the revolution
Bringin? down the rich
When was the last time you dug a ditch, baby!
If it ain't one thing
Then it's the other
Any cause that crosses your path
Your heart bleeds for anyone's brother
I've got to tell you you're a pain in the ass
You criticize with plenty of vigor
You rationalize everything that you do
With catchy phrases and heavy quotations
And everybody is crazy but you
You're just a middle class, socialist brat
From a suburban family and you never really had to work
And you tell me that we?ve got to get back
To the struggling masses (whoever they are)
You talk, talk, talk about suffering and pain
Your mouth is bigger than your entire brain
What the hell do you know about suffering and pain . . .
In fact, I'm going to post these lyrics on my blog later.
LOL...great pictures. Will give you some linky love for this.

This is why the closer I get to Seattle (I live approx 30 miles north), I become physically and mentally ill. No, really.
